  • Can I close/cancel my credit card?

    Depending how long you've had your account open you have two options.

    Within 15 days of opening your account

    You have the right to withdraw from the date your account is created and ending 15 days after you receive your virtual card. If you have a balance you will need to pay this in full.

    Opened 15 days or over

    You may close your account and end your agreement at any time without charge, letting us know you want to close your account and paying your total balance in full.

  • I have a problem with something I’ve bought

    If there's an issue with something you've bought using the IKEA Family credit card where possible, try and speak to the retailer to start with, they may be able to resolve your issue.

    If you haven’t been able to resolve things with the retailer, in the IKEA Financial Services mobile app, log in to your account, choose the transaction of the item you have a problem with and tap the 'Dispute Transaction' button.

    You'll be directed to our dispute portal to provide any required documents and information.

    In some circumstances you may be able to make a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Card Act 1974 you can find out more here.

    Please keep making your monthly payments. If you don’t, you may get late payment fees, and it could impact your credit file.
